Jack De Ross

Jack de Ross carries three generations of Australian eyewear craft. It began in 1925 with an optical practice in Sydney, and passed down to designer Jonathan Sceats, whose hand-drawn, colourful frames made him Australia's number-one eyewear brand through the 1980s — work now held in the Powerhouse Museum's permanent collection. Jack de Ross continues that legacy today, with every frame still drawn by hand and precision-made in high-density cellulose acetate for independent optical practices. The philosophy has never changed: quality, comfort and fit, built to make people happy in their glasses.
