During the COVID-19 outbreak we remain open for consultations.
When making your appointment and presenting at the practice the front staff will ask you screening questions and ask you to delay your examination if you have;
- Flu-like symptoms
- Fever
- Developed a cough
- Difficulty breathing
- Are a close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 7 days
Critical appointments include when you have;
- Eye pain or discomfort
- Recent change in vision
- New red eye signs or symptoms
- Flashes of light or new floaters in your vision
- Recent eye trauma or foreign bodies
- Sudden onset double vision
- Been referred from your General Practitioner
- Broken your only eyewear

Vaccination status
All our staff and optometrists are fully vaccinated.
Practice protocol
We now enforce limits to the number of people allowed in the practice waiting room at any one time, and you may be asked to wait outside until you can safely enter. You will be asked to use hand sanitiser upon arrival and may have your temperature taken. As well, only one adult is allowed in the consultation room during an examination. Depending on the procedure, the optometrist will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) such as a face mask. There may be some delays between examinations while the consultation room and equipment is cleaned and disinfected.
Cleaning
All eyewear is cleaned and sanitised between patients using UV sterilisation. High usage areas are cleaned constantly.
Hours
Opening hours are currently 9.00AM - 5.00PM M-F, 9.00AM - 6.00 PM Thursday and 9.00AM -3.00PM Saturday. If you have an enquiry please feel free to phone or email us.
