Helen Venturato

After graduating from optometry at QUT in 1989, Helen’s career took her to Perth where she was working in a private practice specialising in contact lens fitting, orthokeratology (ortho-k) and sports vision. Helen is passionate about advocating eye health and has directed national education programs, lectured internationally, and authored several articles on various topics relating to eye health and vision. Helen returned to Brisbane in 2013 where she now balances her time between delivering optometry training programs and clinical practice. A member of Optometry Australia, Helen is therapeutically endorsed to prescribe eye drops and takes her time to listen and tailor optometric care and solutions to her patients. As well as being our sports optometry and contact lens specialist, Helen especially loves fashion and cannot resist helping pair people with frames they will love.
