Moscot YONTIF
$550.00
Dressed up and ready to go, the Yontif is a squared frame with a strong brow line and a confident, slightly retro attitude. Generous lenses and a sculpted front give it a polished, architectural feel, while the saddle bridge keeps it sitting comfortably and securely. It’s handcrafted in Italian acetate, with patterns distinctive to each frame, so no two pairs are exactly alike. Two diamond rivets sit on both the front and the temples, and a 5-barrel hinge adds lasting durability. The adjustable paddle temples have a ribbed grip for a secure fit, and the pushcart emblem on the tip nods to MOSCOT’s Lower East Side beginnings. Designed and prototyped in New York by fifth-generation Zack Moscot, the Yontif is a unisex frame for anyone who likes a classic with some real swagger.
MOSCOT began in 1899, when Hyman Moscot sold spectacles from a pushcart on New York’s Lower East Side, and it is still family-run today, now in its fifth generation. Designed with an optician’s eye for comfort, proportion and fit, each frame pairs timeless shape with a confident downtown edge.
